Quality gate and honest provenance
  • cambiadoEntries indexed automatically are no longer marked Official or Verified. Those badges now mean a human proved ownership and the listing passed review; applying them to anything a crawler found made them meaningless — and let third-party wrappers wear the badge of the product they wrap.
  • cambiadoAutomatically indexed entries now require a repository, a homepage, and either a documentation site or a substantial README. This removed roughly two thirds of the registry. Records with no repository cannot be scored and no documentation cannot be installed by anyone who has not already heard of them.
  • eliminadoEntries whose name identified nothing — "MCP", "MCP Server", "API" — are gone. Where a better name could be derived from the publisher's namespace it was used instead.
  • corregidoThe same project published under two registry namespaces produced two listings. Entries are now identified by package coordinate first, then repository, so duplicates collapse onto one record and the higher-scoring one wins.
  • corregidoLogos are now taken only from a domain the publisher demonstrably controls — a remote server's own host, or a DNS-verified namespace. A name is never used to guess a brand, so an unaffiliated wrapper cannot display the logo of the company it wraps.
  • corregidoCategory counts came from a tally that included secondary categories, so a sidebar could claim more entries than the page listed. Both now come from the same query.
  • cambiadoScores read as 82/100 rather than a bare letter grade. A letter alone asked readers to know our scale before it meant anything.
  • cambiadoCategory pages are titled plainly instead of "Top 12 …". Every category rendering as a ranked shortlist promised editorial curation that an automated score does not provide.
  • añadidoLearn pages, a badge generator, JSON API documentation and this changelog.

First corpus
  • añadidoDirectory seeded from the official MCP registry, with install instructions generated for twelve clients, README-derived tool listings, and version history.
  • añadidoMachine-readable twin of every entry at .md and .json, plus llms.txt, a public JSON API and README badges.
  • añadidoFourteen locales, of which six are indexed; the rest ship translated interface text but stay out of search until their content is reviewed.
